A note to parents
Since we, as homeschoolers, believe it is the parents’ responsibility to teach their children, we at The Homeschooler’s Helper advise parents to personally check out all websites included here before allowing your children access to them. Some contain information that some parents may not want their children seeing. Only you can decide what is appropriate for your children.

Special Reads for Special Needs

Rating:
www.SpecialReads.com
Special Reads offers resources for teaching special needs children (Downs Sydrome, ADD/ADHD, etc.) to read using books specially geared toward their ages and interests. These books are visually laid out to attract special readers, deal with subjects of interest to them and take into account the older age of some of these children when learning to read. The site also offers mind-developing music, flash cards and resources for siblings of special needs children.
